A Summer Unlike Any Other...

As we enter into the Fall semester, we are feeling out of sorts. Yes, obviously because we are in the midst of a pandemic but also we typically jump into Fall after camp and with a ton of momentum as we eagerly plan out the first song we will sing at the first Club (usually Lean On Me or the Rappin Bog). But this Fall will be different. The pace is going to be slower. The program elements will be minimal. It's not our normal style but when Young Life is at its best, it is a relational ministry committed to introducing teenagers to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith. That will not stop- even with the obstacles that we may face.

I wanted to share a few snap shots of some recent moments and highlights.
Picture
Emily took Rowlette WyldLife kids to putt putt golf for a fun social distanced outing. Kids were so excited to be with their Leaders & friends!
Picture
One of our recent YL Grads posted about how her YL Family meant so much to her! We are continuing to pray for the Seniors as they move into the next chapter of their lives.

One of our sweet Capernaum friends was badly injured and when a Young Life HS girl heard about it she reached out to several friends to make up a YL Gift Basket to deliver to him. He posted a picture of the goodies!
Please continue to pray for us as we navigate this season. Holding on to the Lord's promise found in Lamentations 3:
The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
Each day, we need His mercy. Rooted by the steadfast love and faithfulness of the Lord.
